Cork Bike Week Events

We’re proud to partner with Cork Sports Partnership, a collaboration that has enabled us to bring exciting cycling events to Cork Bike Week. Thanks to the generous funding provided by Cork City Council and Cork County Council, we’ve been able to offer free bike rentals for our Cycle Freedom event and to organise engaging activities like our eBike Morning Magic and Family Fun Cycle. This support has not only encouraged people to embrace a healthier, more active lifestyle but has also allowed us to showcase the beauty of Cork’s wonderful Greenways.

Kicking off the week with a burst of energy, our eBike Morning Magic event took participants on a captivating journey from Mogeely to Midleton along the recently opened section of the Midleton Youghal Greenway to the bustling Midleton Farmers Market. This electrifying ride highlighted the convenience and thrill of ebikes as riders cruised along the greenway with ease. From the serene beauty of Mogeely to the vibrant atmosphere of Midleton’s market, cyclists experienced the magic of Cork’s countryside in the most enchanting way possible.

Family Fun Cycle in Midleton

Families gathered for a day of adventure and bonding during our Family Fun Cycle event in Midleton. This event aimed to encourage families to spend quality time together outdoors while exploring the beauty of the local greenway amenity. Participants embarked on a scenic journey of phase 1 of the new greenway from Midleton to Mogeely, accompanied by experienced ride leaders. A well-deserved break in Mogeely, where a food truck and a café on wheels awaited, offering a delicious pit stop for all riders.
