Our favourite week of the Year!!

Cork Bike Week offers a fantastic opportunity for community groups, clubs, schools, and other cycling enthusiasts to come together and celebrate the joys of biking.

The week features an exciting array of events, including group rides, bike checks, educational workshops, safety training sessions, and family-friendly activities.

Cork Bike Hire plays a central role during Cork Bike Week by organising its own events that cater to various skill levels and interests – see Our Bike Week Activities section.

We find their location at the Marina Market ideal to start from, and especially to finish at, as the Marina Market provides food options to everyone. In minutes you are on the greenway to Passage. Where it is so pleasant and safe to cycle, especially if you have a group of different abilities. The selection and quality of bikes as well as helmets and safety gear are exactly what you would want and expect. They have bikes to cater for everyone. Quality equipment and service to match. Try them and try cycling. You won't be disappointed.

I can't say enough good things about Cork Bike Hire. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our group bike hire so seamless. We were warmly greeted and then given a brief safety talk before being allocated size appropriate bikes and helmets. There was such a bike choice from hybrid, to electric and even an adult trike. We spent the morning enjoying the off-road experience, whilst cycling along the Midleton to Mogeely Greenway, which offered stunning scenic views and well-maintained paths. We took a well-deserved coffee break at The Coffee Station in Mogeely where there are plenty of tasty and nourishing bites to enjoy. It was the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors and bond with colleagues. Excellent service and an amazing experience overall!

This was the second year in a row taking part in Cork Bike Week. Both the Cork to Passage West and Midleton to Mogeely cycles and the coffees on route were so enjoyable and seeing the joy each person got out of the day was great! Some had not been on a bike for years so felt very safe off the road and using the greenway. Thank you to Fiona and team for taking such good care of our group each time. You are all very professional and accommodating. It is always a pleasure dealing with you.
