Rental Agreement
By renting a bike from Cork Bike Hire, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein.
Age Requirement
Renters must be at least 18 years old to rent a bike, unless accompanied by a guardian. eBikes are available for rental for 14+ year olds only.
Booking and Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, online payments, and bank transfers.
Rental Duration
The rental duration begins at the time of pickup and ends at the specified return time. Late returns may incur additional charges.
Bike Use and Care
Renters are responsible for using the bike in a safe and appropriate manner. Bikes must be returned in the same condition as they were rented, with normal wear and tear expected.
Safety Equipment: Helmets, and high visibility vests are provided free of charge. Helmets must be worn while riding the bike.
Bike Locks
A lock is provided with each rental. Renters are responsible for properly securing the bike when not in use.
Damage Deposit for Electric Bikes:
A damage deposit of €50 per is required per electric bike upon pickup to cover any potential damages. This deposit will be refunded upon return of the bike in satisfactory condition.
Limitation of Liability:
I fully indemnify MY Greenway Enterprise Ltd against injury, any loss or damage caused to myself or any third party. I recognise that cycling can be dangerous and acknowledge the risks involved.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations by customers to be advised by email.
- Full refund available for cancellations with 48 hours’ notice prior to date of rental period.
- Rescheduling can be made for up to 24 hours before the rental period.
- Any cancellations on the day of a scheduled booking or a no show will be forfeited.
Should we need to cancel your booking in the event of a national weather warning or unforeseen circumstances we will make every effort to notify you as soon as possible. Customers may reschedule to another day/time, avail of a gift card should this suit or a full refund.
Refund Policy
Refunds can be issued for cancellations made within our specified refund period, minus any applicable fees. No refunds will be made for early returns, late pickups, no-shows or change of mind.
